Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been so confidential, but now we have concluded the Infinity Saga, it is time to theorise the next chapter, firstly predicting which films will land which release dates.
July 7, 2019 - Spider-Man: Far From Home
Not something that can be considered a prediction, since it is coming in a matter of months, a trailer having already been released.
May 1, 2020 - Black Widow
This is one of my longest anticipated Marvel films... I have been waiting for a Black Widow solo film since... I can't even remember. My point is that it is long overdue.

November 6, 2020 - The Eternals
I am excited to potentially be seeing Angelina Jolie herself grace the screen once again and become a part of the MCU. This original property is one that intrigues me.

February 12, 2021 - Black Panther 2
The release date makes sense, since its predecessor would have been released around this time three years prior to the Black Panther sequel, and since they caught such lightning in a bottle with that film, it would almost be silly not to put this film in this slot.

May 7, 2021 - Doctor Strange 2
The powerset of Dr. Stephen Strange is one which warrants that coveted late April/early May release date... the home of all the Russos' films, the entire Avengers series, Guardians Vol. 2, and so on. Also, please, Kevin Feige, Scarlet Witch deserves a supporting role in this film.
November 5, 2021 - Shang-Chi
November 5, 2021 - Shang-Chi
Another new hero, another exciting development in the MCU.
February 18, 2022 - Spider-Man 3
February 18, 2022 - Spider-Man 3
It will have been a while since we would've seen Spidey on the screen, but hopefully the wait will pay off. Due to Tom Holland's very respectable, busy career, I can imagine he would want to do some other large-scale projects after being in at least one Marvel film for four consecutive years.
May 6, 2022 - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3
May 6, 2022 - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3
With the whole James Gunn situation, it is unfortunate that this can't seem to come much sooner, with his Suicide Squad film being released the previous year. Oh well, at least we are getting it.
July 29, 2022 - Captain Marvel 2
July 29, 2022 - Captain Marvel 2
For some reason, July just seems like a very natural slot for Captain Marvel 2.
May 7, 2023 - Avengers 5
Usually the wait for another Avengers film is just three years, but since we were spoilt with 2 Avengers films in a row in addition to the fact that Marvel have so much ground to cover, it is looking like we will have to wait just that little bit longer.
Hopefully we will have a much clearer idea of what is going to happen with the MCU by the highly anticipated D23 2019 Marvel panel. If it is looking like this, then I am satisfied, and looking forward to whatever they have in store for us.
