Avengers: Endgame Tickets Released and New Trailer

If you're reading this and haven't got your Endgame tickets yet, then please book your tickets and come back after. This film is on fire, breaking records, breaking the internet, and - already - breaking hearts. It is one huge event.
I was incredibly lucky to have grabbed my midnight screening (yay) tickets before every cinema chain website crashed and people were made to wait in a virtual 5-hour queue to even have access to the screening times. Needless to say, the ticket-buying process was incredibly nerve-racking, especially since I took the responsibility to get the tickets for TWELVE OTHER PEOPLE... so. much. pressure.

But thankfully, I managed to get them, with absolutely no issues. I then scrolled through my YouTube subscription feed to find that Marvel had released a new, minute-long trailer, with pretty much all new footage. I can confidently say that this is the best trailer yet. There is a perfect blend of action and emotion, but never giving us too much in the way that we feel like we have already seen the entirety of one of the many action sequences. This trailer, combined with the fact that tickets are booked and everything surrounding this film is concrete, made me infinitely more excited for this film - something I thought was completely impossible.

Everything in this trailer is pretty much spectacular. That instantly iconic Thanos line, Tony and Pepper, ROCKET and Nebula... but nothing came close to the feeling I got in reaction to the exchange between Steve Rodgers and Tony Stark. The simple 'Do you trust me?' followed by the even simpler 'I do,' followed by that assuring handshake is so full of earnest, and, in just a few seconds, tells whoever's watching, 'This is why you love these characters so much,' because they really feel like heroes.

And now we wait. Three weeks to the day until we see - arguably - the biggest cinematic event of the century arrives on our screens. What a day that will be.
